1:1 & Group Classes

I have been teaching 1:1 and group classes since 2021 from Foundational, Beginner to Intermediate level. If you would like to know more about the curriculum, please check the online courses for each level to help you determine your level of proficiency.

I was once a student just like you—and I still am. That’s why, in my lessons, I don’t just teach the language. I share the strategies, tips, and real experiences I’ve gained as a learner to encourage my students, guide them through difficulties, and help them enjoy the process of learning Korean with confidence. <3

How I Work

Upgrade your skills, change your life

In class, I teach the fundamental skills in learning a new language.

If you are starting with no previous Korean learning, we start with a little bit of History of Hangul then we learn the Korean Alphabets, starting with the 14 Consonants and 8 Vowels. We will then get into reading and writing Hangul.

As you progress, you will learn vocabulary and grammar, and apply what you learn through reading, writing AND speaking! Yes, you will be able to speak Korean!

I provide all the materials which are free and yours to keep! There will be videos to watch, in-class exercises as well as homework. We will also have review test for each lesson we complete.

As your tutor, I will let you learn at your own pace and encourage you along the way. Learning a new language can be challenging but together, we can make it fun and find ways to learn, study, and practice better!

Testimonials

Listen to What Students Have to Say

“Hi everyone, my name is Veronica and I’ve been studying Korean with Rossy for about 5 months now. I’ve tried to learn it on my own previously and even took some classes with native speakers but had zero results and at the time we started with Ross, I still could not even read. The video above is unscripted although I did look up a few words before recording it. Very proud of our work sansenim! To everyone starting their Korean journey- have patience, have consistency and good luck!” – Veronica
